For instance, if you are building a travel bot to handle flight cancellations, your slot type might look for the phrase “rooms required.” To create a custom slot, select Add Slot Type from the Slots page or click the + button in the left pane. In the Add Slot Type dialog, choose Custom and then enter a regular expression that matches the desired pattern. To test the slot type, select the Test Slot Type tab. If the test fails, select Edit Slot Type to refine or replace the regex. After modifying the regex, select Save Slot Type to continue. You can also use the Slots page to modify existing slot types.
